22 ACU'RZR for RimFires
Since we can't control your use of the tool
We can not and do not accept responsibility on how it is used ...
Please read these instructions carefully...

As shown in the picture, the new Paco tool, called the ACU'RZR
not only changes the nose shape but tightens the accuracy.
Different cartridge brands act differently ... but it does tighten the accuracy.
The nose change has two shapes: a cupped nose
and what we call the .22RF - NastiNose...
The Cupped Nose shape cuts a very clean hole in targets.
The Nasti-Nose makes a hollow point work like they never have before.
The Scorp'n expands but goes deep in pests and animals.

The Nasty-Nose shape was developed so that even target velocity ammo... along with standard velocity ammo, would place as much energy into the target as possible.

Accuracy and power of .22RF ammo is raised to a new level, with a new tool, that is now quick and easy to use...

How to use the new tool ...

The tool looks deceptively simple... and its basic design is. It takes some practice to be sure the bullet nose is expanded evenly and the Nasti-Nose hollow point and or Nasti-Nose shapes come out centered every time...

The tools themselves require very little pressure to change the nose shape and size. In fact, those new to this may have difficulty to not to use too much pressure when tapping the forming rods.

The TOOL MUST BE USED ONLY ON A SOLID FLAT SURFACE. Keep in mind that we are working with rimfire ammo... and the barrel of the tool makes a great short gun barrel. The tool must always be used flat against the surface.
The tool is designed so the rim of the ammo never touches the tool during reforming, only the body of the cartridge is held.
With tight chambers on the tool like .221 and .222 for tight bores... the tool can be tapped down very lightly on the cartridge to seat it flat. When forming, tap lightly on the rods... after forming the nose to any diameter, Then tap the tool down again on the cartridge... to bottom out the cartridge in the tool. and be sure the bullet diameter is perfect for the full length being used.

Each end gives a different size. Set the round into the tool, solidly on the base of the tool sitting on the flat surface, and then the cartidge rim is not touching the tool. So reforming can't set off the round.

We did set one off, just to see what happens.
But we had to work at it. While holding the tool cocked at a 10° angle on the hard surface, the rim was touching on the side of the flat surface, and then striking the ramrod very hard several times, set it off. Strange, the bullet did not leave the tool's barrel/center hole, but the brass bottom of the .22 case scattered in pieces all around the work bench and actually penetrated soft things on the bench. It did not hurt the tool and it is still in use. Use a mallet of raw-hide or plastic. Place the tool on a flat surface that is smooth, flat, and with absolutely no protrusions... protrusions will act like a firing pin.

Many .22RF gun chambers are different sizes... from tight to overly large... some will chamber a .225 bullet, usually revolvers with sloppy chambers... but most autoloading rifles or pistols won't go above .223 or .224 diameter.

WARNING: if a firearm's chamber will not chamber a round with reasonable pressure, do not force the round... it is liable to fire prematurely with half the case out of the chamber... more brass cartridge pieces going everywhere... plus spooking the heck out of the shooter. Our tools are made to give .223 and .224 standard .22RF diameter bullets. These two sizes are consistent with the best accuracy when using most differnet type of firearms. Custom tools and rams are available in any size. European barrels are very tight bored and tools chambered to .222 are best.

The two/three rods that included with the ACU'RZR do several things. The flat/dish forming rod will take a pointed bullet (like the Aquila SSS) or a round nose bullet and perfectly center the dish nose. This should be done prior to using the other rods. So that adding the Nasti-Nose hollow point shape or the Scorpn'N shape will be centered perfectly.

To get these there designs right, we went thru dozens of designs on the rams... and thousands of rounds of ammo. Does anyone want about a thousand rounds of .22 ammo that won't chamber in anything? we have it.

The shooter can go from a reasonably formed nose to a full wadcutter, if so desired. The larger wadcutter-type nose shape will make a clean cut in paper targets to reasonnable ranges, but will be difficult to chamber in autoloaders. The Nasti-Nose shape has a deep hollow point, and a dished flat around it... and a (Elmer Keith .44spec) shape overall. The Scorp'N gives the bullet expansion but with deep penetration.
We have a tool for .22 shorts, too. It makes them expand on pests and vermin.
High velocity ammo becomes extremely deadly and accurate...
Low velocity takes on a whole new character...
Target ammo becomes extremely accurate...
All it takes is a little practice and experimentation and it really is a lot of fun playing with the differnet styles, sizes, and ammo in different guns.
Like all .22RF firearms, some guns like different designs... but the bottom line is .22RF ammo takes on a whole new meaning.

The new Baby Scor'N is designed to give a center post in the ACU'RZRed cup point. For deeper penetration and expansion killing power. When making this variation, first dish the bullet in the center... then slip the Baby-Scorp'N rod over the dish shape created by the round-nosed rod. and tap medium... When finished tappng with the Baby-Scorp'N rod, while the bullet is still in the chamber of the tool... rotate the rod until it offers no more resistance... then carefully tap the bullet out until you can pull straight out of the tool. Otherwise, the internal bullet post will be bent to one side... it takes a little practice...
The rings on each end of the tool denote the finished bullet diameter
2-rings for .222   3-rings for .223   4 rings for .224

enjoy... God bless you.
